The act of releasing breathtaking white doves as part of your ceremony or event. Releasing a dove or doves holds symbolism to many and adds a perfect touch to their special occasion. Once released, the doves will descend upwards and circle together before making their journey home. A totally breathtaking effect for you and your guests
A white dove display is just what it sounds like.
Beautiful white doves on display. These are
usually displayed in one of our display cages
that are decorated to compliment your event.
Common areas of displays are in the church foyer as guests are arriving. A table where guests stop to sign your guestbook is also an choice for many brides on their wedding day.
Dove displays are not just for weddings though,
I included a dove display by my baby granddaughters casket for viewing after she passed away. A dove display can add a memorable touch to your event.
Our dove displays include one dove for funeral,
memorial, and gravesite services and two doves
for wedding displays.
If you have ideas for a larger display, I'd be
happy to see if we can accommodate
that for you.
Yes. Our birds are very spoiled indeed and even enjoy taking a bath. They are very well cared for which means that we do offer them an area where they love to take advantage of their bath time.
We have no issue with anyone touching or holding the doves during a release. There is a way to hold them to prevent harm to them and this can be explained to you prior to your event. We don't advise passing them around but holding them to release is fine if you feel comfortable in doing so, otherwise you many release them from one of our release baskets or display cages if you have selected those options.
No. All doves both display and release are the sole property of Sacred Covenant Christian Dove Release and are rented out for your event and must therefore be returned.
One of our professionals will be on site to gather them. They are returned to us once your ceremony is done
The display doves yes but not the doves used in a release.
We offer beautiful white fantail doves as well as white ringneck doves that will offer to be on display for your guests in a cage decorated to compliment your event.
The doves undergo specific training from a very
young age. Our doves are actually homing pigeons also known as rock doves and have that homing ability which helps them navigate back to their loft.
Areas of training include trap training to safely get them in quickly in case of danger. Also road training assures us that the birds are trained to return home to their loft once they have done a release.
Not to worry we would never intentionally put
our birds in harms way.
No. These doves have absolutely no homing ability like our release doves and would perish or be killed outside in the wild. It is very important to never use them in releases as it would be detrimental to the doves.
For this reason we will always provide for the safety of our doves by securing our display cages with a small lock that is discreetly covered by decorations in order to keep them safe in case little hands want to open the cage
That may be possible depending on the location of the event , the time of year, and how far away it is from their loft.
Our birds need at least an hour to fly back home before it starts to get dark outside, otherwise they will stop and continue their journey when it is light again.
We don't want any harm to come to our birds so if your event is local and the release is scheduled accordingly then there shouldn't be a problem.
We understand that losing a loved one can sometimes be very sudden and unplanned for. In light of this, we have decided to offer our funeral and memorial releases a little less than we would for releases where there have been months or maybe longer to plan for the event.
By offering our funeral and memorial releases at a lower price we are able to reach out to the family at this time and help them to avoid any undue hardships while they are grieving for their lost loved one.
Of course, given that you have the permission of the funeral home or church pastor if at a church, we will bring a display and set it up by your loved ones casket or another area while you are receiving friends and family.

I believe that it was a calling from the Lord.
I have had so many testimonies from people
who have told me that they saw one of my
doves and had been going through something
and just seeing the dove gave them peace.
One of my favorite testimonies so far was a
gentleman who was going to have to have
surgery and was apprehensive about it.
He told me that when he saw the dove,
he took it as a sign from God that everything
was going to be ok thus giving him peace
about it.
As he was telling me this, I could see the hand of God all over it, and I truly believe that the Lord uses my doves to reach out to people.
I am in awe that He would even consider me
for such a task but so grateful that He did as
it also teaches me and helps me to grow
stronger in my own faith as well.
I love the Lord and want to share Him with
others. Being able to share about Him with
my doves gives me the opportunity to reach
out to others who may not attend church
services to hear about His love and mercy.
Offering Christian releases and incorporating
Bible verses on my webpages allow me
to share that love as well.
If I can reach but one in the name of the Lord
with my doves, I would say it was definitely
worth doing it to have another soul added
to the Lambs' Book of Life and to know that
my doves helped to bring a touch of Gods
peace into the heart and lives of those
who are hurting
